Picture in the making (one method)
This is not necessarily typical of all my work. I try not to use masking
fluid at all - and certainly not more than I have to. But, for certain
otherwise technically complex subjects, I find it can be helpful, It can
certainly be tedious in use but, by using several old brushes of different
sizes at hand and using white spirit as a solvent (washing the brushes
well afterwards with soap - with a final good rinse), I manage without too
much trouble.
Some papers handle better than others: experiment first. This picture
is app 14.5 x 10.5 inches and was painted on Bockingford 250 lb NOT paper.
