Picture in the making (one method) - Stage 2
Here I have used a wash of cobalt blue and light red over the entire picture, lifting off here and there, for example in the sky and adding (wet in wet) suggestions of colour. When dry, I have loosely painted in the background of trees and the stand. Note some leaves masked now to prevent too heavy a mass of colour later.
